All those who have gone for Hajj or Umrah must have noticed that in the intense heat of burning the skin and in the open sky, under the scorching sun, the place of circumambulation around the Ka'bah does not burn under the feet at "Mataf" but feels quite cold. What is the secret behind this?
Egyptian geologist Dr. Yagul al-Najjar highlights this valuable part that has almost disappeared from history.
In the words of Dr. Yaglul Al-Najjar ----
"The craftsman and entrepreneur of this great work - he is an Egyptian engineer and architect who loved to be hidden from the public eye. He is Dr. Mohammad Kamal Ismail. [Born 1906-Died 2007]
He was the first youngest student in Egyptian history to be admitted and graduated from the "Royal School of Engineering" after high school! He was also the youngest of the students sent to Europe, the first Egyptian engineer to receive three doctorates in a separate subject on Islamic architecture.
He was the first engineer to undertake the planning and implementation of the Haramain (Mecca-Medina) expansion project. DrKamal Ismail refuses to accept any payment despite the recommendations of King Fahad and Bin Laden Group for design or architectural supervision at Haramain !! He returned the check. His honesty and sincerity towards work made him the darling and trust of all including Khadimul Haramain Malik Fahad, Malik Abdullah.
He told Bakr bin Laden (a partner in bin Laden's company):
"Why should I get paid for working at these two holy mosques ?So how can I stand before God on the Day of Judgment? "- This was his love for Kaaba.
In private life, he got married at the age of 44. His wife died in childbirth. After that he did not get married. He devoted his entire life to obedience to God until his death. He lived for almost 100 years, the whole time he spent in the service of two mosques, money, fame, away from the limelight of the media ...
Haramain's marble work in Mecca Medina has a wonderful story of his life. He first wanted to cover the floor of the Masjid al-Haram for pilgrims (previously it was gravelly, like Muzdalifah). Especially with marble that has heat absorption capacity. This particular type of marble was not readily available. This type of marble was the only small mountain in the whole world, located in Greece. He went to Greece. Signed a contract to buy enough marble.
👁🗨 (The cause of this cold is a special kind of marble stone Rare #thasos marble stones brought from Greece have been used for the floors around the Kaaba. The special feature of this stone is that it can absorb heat by reflecting sunlight. There is also a water drain under this marble stone. Which flows through the sand and keeps it wet. Which causes this cold. Source: Al Arabiya. (al-arabia news agency.org)
Dr. Kamal Ismail returned to Mecca after work and left with a stock of white marble. In due course the work of white marble was completed in the special design of the floor of Masjidul Haram.
... 15 years later .... the Saudi government called Dr. Kamal and asked him to cover the courtyard of Masjid Nawabi with white marble in the same way !! as he did in Matafe.
He said, "When I was asked to cover the floor of the wide courtyard of Masjid-e-Nawabi using the same marble, I felt lost !Because that special kind of marble is not found anywhere in the whole world except for a small place in Greece and I have already bought half of what they had !! What was left was less than the demand for the spacious courtyard of the Masjid Nawabi!
He went to Greece again. The CEO of the same company met with him and wanted to know how much is left of the hill! The CEO told him that the rest of the hill was sold 15 years after he bought it.He was so upset to hear that he could not finish his coffee! He decided to return to Mecca on the next flight. Before leaving the office he went to the office secretary for no reason and asked for the name and address of the person who bought the rest of the marble.
Even though it was very difficult, at Kamal's request he promised to check the old record. When he came out leaving his name and phone number, he thought, what is the use of knowing who bought it or what is my benefit? .... He said that surely Allah has kept something good ...
A few hours before leaving for the airport the next day, the secretary of the company said on the phone that the name and address of the buyer had been found. As Kamal walked slowly towards the office, he thought, ... will this address really work for me? Sometimes when so many years have passed ....
When he reached the office, the secretary gave him the name and address of the buyer. His heart pounded with the address in hand when he discovered the buyer of the rest of the marble was a Saudi company !!!
Kamal returned to Saudi that day. Upon arrival, he met with the company's director admin and asked what he had done with the marbles he had bought from Greece many years earlier. She couldn't remember anything. Contacted the company's stock room and asked what had been done to the white marbles that came from Greece? They said that the white marble is in stock and has not been used anywhere. !!
Kamal started sobbing like a baby. Asked why he was crying, he told the whole story to the owner of the company. Dr. Kamal asked him to settle his arithmetic with a blank check. When the owner of the company found out that this white marble was being taken for the mosque of the Prophet, he did not agree to take 1 dirham !!!
"By Allah! There is no god but Allah, He is the owner of this company !! Fisabillah !! Allah Subhana Ta'ala bought it with me and He is the one who made me forget about it !! Because this marble came for the purpose of the Prophet's mosque."
Was about the owner of the company.
Allah knows best, whether there is any lack of information here.
